many sharks are at least moderately social, and if a specific species of shark has the ability to breathe without actually swimming and tends to have a lot of sharks in a fairly small area, well.
they are just going to Pile. and there is simply nothing you can do about it.
I didn’t realize how disgusting light bulbs were till I had to dump THOUSANDS of them into a gaylord. I am now dingey and smell like grandmas ashes
Pardon me?
i forgor not everyone knows what gaylords r but it’s these big bitches watermelons and shit come in, we use em to store paint and bulbs lmao
You mean a box???
I work in a warehouse and have to deal with these all the time. They’re called gaylords because they were popularized by a company called Gaylord iirc. You get used to calling them gaylords but every so often you say it to a person who doesn’t know and it hits you.
One time at work, I texted my boss about an order of them that came in by saying “there’s a 1400lb gaylord in the warehouse. besides me, of course.”
its always fun when we get new ppl at work that get whiplash when they hear us scream across the shop for three gaylords
hot tip! if you ever find yourself googling gloryhole in order find a picture to show someone else what it looks like (pictured below btw), REMEMBER TO TACK ON GLASSBLOWING AT THE END
I think it would be incredibly useful if there were some function where one could turn off photos, and only be able to see text posts.
If I try to scroll through my dashboard it just goes “photo photo photo photo photo photo photo photo"ad nauseam.
Perhaps some sort of filter or way to go to 1 dashboard for photos and One dashboard for text. That, I could see being wildly useful for a number of people. Sometimes you want to look at art and sometimes you want to read.
The newest addition to changing font size and style when editing a post is quite inaccessible. It’s very confusing to have the option to make text bigger pop up in a whole separate screen. Hard to navigate. It’s very visual. I admire it from a design perspective for the people who can see but for me.. not so much.
Many of the buttons such as to click on a person’s profile if you want to unfollow or block r "unlabeled”, meaning my phone just says “unlabeled”, so I have no idea what I’m clicking on. It’s possible I could accidentally tip someone
Additionally, the ability to block people from all your blogs. If someone leaves a nasty comment on something from a side blog, you should be able to block them from your specific blog that they commented on, as well as your main blog. This is been an issue from the beginning. Shouldn’t have to message someone or go on to a laptop to properly block them.
I was recently repeatedly harassed by someone and unable to block them because it was on my side blog, and they were using their side blog as well, which was definitely on purpose to make it even harder to block them.
Maybe when you hover over somebody’s comment, and option should pop up to decide which blog/s you want to block them from.
I don’t know the lingo to explain this last one as much, but maybe something that’s easier to scroll with with two fingers. With many screen readers, you have to use two fingers to scroll, because one finger is used to drag around the screen to have it read out loud. Maybe a little sidebar where you can swipe up and down when it is selected, which is a feature that my phone does have. For example, if I click on volume controls, I can swipe up for up and down for down.
Oh yes, and this new thing where you can scroll through images only is kind of cool except they are not recognized as images by screen readers, and only read the username of the person who posted it, as well as asking to like and follow them. My phone can usually analyze pictures of text, but not through this feature.
Going through the whole app using a screen reader on IOS and Android would be a pretty good way to get an idea of some of the issues
I’d like to tag someone and I saw that really helpful woman whose username started with like. Zirg but I’ll have to find it
If you care about accessibility for the blind on here, please boost as well! :-)
Listen I’m hammered right now but I did competition martial arts for several years. If Zuck and Musk actually fought, it would be fucking fascinating.
Zuck has been training for several years, but Musk is literally two weight classes heavier. That’s enough of a difference that most orgs would consider it legally dangerous for them to fight. However, Musk is also older, which could mitigate his weight advantage.
In a vacuum, I’d give that matchup a tenuous 50/50, but I think Zuck wins the psychological game. There’s nothing behind his eyes. He reminds me of the 5'4’’ coked up ringers that every Jiu-Jitsu dojo would bring to MMA tourneys. You can’t take your eyes off those guys or they win points by slipping along your kicks. Musk might be stronger but Zuck has the strategy.
Final call. Hammered 4/1 for Zuck.
If I have identical training to my opponent, but they are 70 pounds heavier, I have no chance. That is not a fair match.
If I have a black belt, but my opponent is inexperienced, even if they are 70 pounds heavier, I could potentially handle that. That’s a gamble, but a decent gamble.
If my opponent has been in actual street fights before, I am not fucking with them, regardless of weight.
You’re giving Musk too much credit, the guy is pudgy af, any weight he’s got on Zuck is probably fatty tissue.
Underestimate body fat at your own peril. Body fat is mass and armor. It cushions blows and weights punches.
